JANUARY 9, 2021.
Today i re-learnt this:
Holding on to hurt and wishing/praying that something bad happens to the person that has hurt you is like drinking poison and hoping that another person dies. "Forgiveness is me giving up my right to hurt you for hurting me. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that. There are two great rivers that cause love to flow into the hearts of men and women. The river of giving, and the river of forgiveness. The world today, is filled with so much heartaches and pain because these rivers have been clogged with so much garbage. Unforgiveness is poisonous and a demonic tool designed to stop us from moving forward."Did i believe it? Yes, very much. It sunk in real deep but it was still hard to do. I've been hurt alot and been blamed for it by the same people simply because they misunderstood me or were too ready to point our my faults without realizing how much more of their owm i was overlooking. This life is hard but i've convinced myself of the right way to go...
Forward!
JANUARY 11, 2021 There were times when i was really worried about how I'd get through the next day but i have come to terms with the fact that, worrying doesn't change anything. In fact, it makes things worse. "Hakuna Matata," popularized by that movie The Lion King, means " no worries " Timon and Pumba were trying to convince Simba that the past is the past, and that you can either learn from it or run from it. They emphasised that nothing good comes out of dwelling on it because you can't change it and most of the time, it just hurts you some more so its just best to ignore the past and move on after learning from it... What I've begun to learn? Stop the worry, especially when it comes to things out of my control. all i can do is what i can do and what i can do is enough for God. So what is the use of the worry? I believe now more than ever, that i am more than a lion king. I am the King's kid. My father knows and sees all things before they happen to me. So I will pack up my troubles in my old kit bag and smile ,smile, smile and smile daily, singing Hakuna Matata!
